I hope they sell it in Washington--otherwise, looks like you're going to have to make your own! And Trader Joe's has been hounding me about it, but I keep telling them it's reserved for me, myself, and I. And my Nutella cookie butter sandwiches. (Oh gosh, I was joking, but that actually sounds kind of awesome right now. Probably shouldn't have typed that.)

Join the club--my life didn't begin until I discovered it two weeks ago either! And that mandoline sounds absolutely terrifying. I can't even cope with cheese graters or automatic staplers (brrr), so I'd hate to see what would happen if you put me in front of one of those and told me I had to use it...

I've never heard of cookie butter! What a waste my life has been! ;-) This looks really good, and your recipe is great. I have one of those min food processors and never thought to fear it - but after reading your post I will! They are so handy, though. The piece of kitchen gear that really freaks me out is my mandoline. I have one of those big, French stainless steel jobs, and the blade is wicked sharp. Even using the guard, I'm always afraid I'll slice my fingers off! But I shake it off and use it anyway. Fun post - thanks.
