I know exactly how you feel--I'm a huge French toast fanatic as well. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

John, those are really kind words. Thanks so much--we're doing our best. I hope you do get a chance to give it a shot, I think you and Mrs. KR will really enjoy the simplicity of it!

I've never made an overnight French toast, and really need to sometime. How delish. So sorry you're in a funk and experiencing pain. The sun will come up tomorrow, though, so hang in there. And eating does help, so just do it!

In reply to <a href="https://www.wallflourgirl.com/2013/02/12/classy-overnight-blueberry-french-toast/#comment-445">Beth</a>.

Beth–thank you SO much for this comment! It means the world to me, and I woke up this morning to it with such a huge grin that I’m sure I will be walking on clouds all day. I’m glad you find that my writing and posts can share the same with you! You can most definitely make this lovely baby ahead of time, and it really does look gorgeous when served. I hope this recipe will give you some time for self-loving and all that jazz–you’ve earned it, Beth! It’s so great to finally talk to you here–I hope we’ll be seeing each other around here soon <3 don't be a stranger!

Just wanted to let you know that a) I totally feel your pain on the overwhelming pile of teachery work to do even when you feel ill or grouchy or all you want to do is curl up and eat junk food. and b) I don't comment very often (nearly never), but I so enjoy your blog posts and always smile when a new one pops up in my email feed. Just wanted to let you know that!

Oh! and c) not only do I now desperately need to make this (very simple-looking) french toast casserole, but you have given me inspiration for Valentine's Day dessert! I was grumpy at the idea of coming home from work on Thursday and having to put mass amounts of time and effort into making a nice dessert. While a pre-schooler hangs off of one leg and a puppy off the other. But now? I have it! BREAD PUDDING!!!!! I can throw it all together the night before, once everyone is in bed, and then pull it out to bake while we eat dinner on Thurs! SO THANK YOU! You have eased my stress immensely :-)

Be well, and I hope your family issues become better soon.
